Workin’ It: Salmon & Strawberry Salsa Crostini (Michigan Fruit Part 2)

by Megan on July 9, 2012

We are getting matchy-matchy up in here. And somehow it works out looks-wise AND flavor-wise. These taste complex and lovely.

OH! I made a total of 4 recipes for this feature. Click HERE for the first post, and check back for recipes 3 and 4 in the next couple weeks!

The salsa recipe is from Annie’s Eats, and she’s so right about it being salmon’s BFF. It’s magical really.

And don’t even get me started about green and red together. They’re complimentary for a reason, ya know?

So I hope you try this over the summer when the strawberries are the reddest. I promise you’ll be shocked, in love, and happy all at once.

Yay! Click HERE for a downloadable pdf of the recipe shown above.

I would never in my life think to pair salmon and strawberry, but I completely trust you and this looks so pretty and delicious that I’m not sure I’d be able to resist!

I have never mixed strawberries with salmon, but I think it just might work… very interesting, and very healthy! Love the pictures.
