Workin’ It: Hot Chocolate + Marshmallows

Chocolate love.

Remember how I think it’s the most fun when food is incorporated into my job?
This is the latest example.

This whole story makes me want to go sledding.

And then drink hot chocolate a little too fast. What about you?

Winter 2010-11 // Detroit Home magazine
Art Direction by Jessica Decker + she made the chocolate letters
Styling by Aleene Jinn George

Hot chocolate, marshmallows and freckled whipped cream made by me
(I also assisted with directing the art.)

P.S. I used David Lebovitz recipe for Belgian hot chocolate and it’s heaven.

  1. Love, love, love seeing this! I am always curious about the magazine and what you put in it!! Thanks for sharing!!!

  2. Wow, wow, wow! Nice work, Megan! The spread is gorgeous and I am so impressed with how beautiful the hot chocolate looks. I’m sure this got a lot of people craving a big, beautiful mug of it! I know it did for me ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Way after the fact, because I’m a recent fan (found you through the Hungry Dudes’ Pinterest re-pins), but I remember this article. It totally drew me in. I could almost taste the cocoa and marshmallows.
